Proverbs 31 was written from a wise mother to her son, teaching him what to look for in a spouse. I chose one of my favorite verses - and one of the most well-known of the chapter - as the inspiration for this design. The feminine color palette was very pleasant to work with, and I truly hope stitchers find it relaxing as they "work willingly with their hands." The design can be framed or finished into a 7"x7" cushion, but this model has been mounted into a beautiful box from Olde Colonial Designs. It would make such a perfect sewing box, given the verse. (If framed or finished into a pinkeep, it would be so sweet displayed in a sewing studio or favorite stitching spot.)
